You know some science fiction writer in the fifties probably thought smell-o-vision would be the next thing to happen to television. As I sit here watching Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe, I'm so very glad that was never invented. This is the first time I've seen a tv host literally blow chunks on tv - no, not just vomit - he violently threw up. He was grinding fish into chum for a marine biologist. Man, isn't tv glamorous? He certainly earns his pay.

Wow - I'm surprised that is what did him in! I've seen far worse things on that show. I guess it proves that we all have our own definition of utter yuckiness.

He might have had motion sickness as well and the fish smell did him in.

I'm not allowed to watch it during dinner anymore with Jean because it's so vile to her. I've got no problem watching it.

My biggest problem has been that it's been on reruns for the past 2 months! I was so glad to see the new Casino Recycling episode this week!

OMG! Wasn't the pig farm great! That was completely disgusting.

We eat dinner while catching up on Tivo. A lot of times we're watching House while eating. I think I can handle it better since it's fake even though it's very graphic.

House isn't tooo bad (well, usually, there have been times...). Bones on the other hand ... that one is rough to watch while eating.

We gave up on Bones, but before we did we saw a few episodes during dinner. Now we are trying ot catch up on House re-runs, so we usually have one or two of them waiting for us.

yeah I'm with you on that one.... the smell of fish guts and vomit mixed together might not be the most wonderful to the nose. hehehe

funny thing, I used to do stuff like that all the time (the fish, not the vomiting), but right now I don't miss it. The worst smell for me has been excavating a sea turtle nest - talk about the Bog of Eternal STENCH!
